To coincide with their Baby&Me TV commercial, Evian released a series of print advertisements. As you know, earlier this week I reviewed their TV ad, so today I will review their print advert.
As you can already see, these adverts are rather cute and beautifully portray the Live Young campaign that Evian is so famous for.
The advert reflects the whole concept of your ‘Inner Baby’ in these adverts by having a mirror image of the adults with their babified selves.
An interesting thing to note about the print advert above is that unlike all the others, they have failed in removing any other brand messaging and have essentially advertised Lacoste clothing free of charge. A Pretty bad mistake. However it still advertises the whole Evian Live Young Inner Baby campaign, so it can be forgiven for this little mishap.
The print advert and the TV commercial play off each other really well and the print ads really highlight the whole campaign, however the adverts on their own, though cute, only work as well as they do because of the TV ad. Without the TV ad, these print ads wouldn’t make very much sense.§

Reviewing The Print Advert:
As stated above, the messaging of these print adverts is great. It superbly ties into the whole Inner Baby and Live Young campaign by Evian and helps bring up the brand awareness of Evian. Other than the Lacoste advertising in one of the print adverts, they are all relevant to Evian and this makes them great print adverts. 5/5
The design is very clean and clear. The brand messaging is clearly portrayed and it only needs a glance to deliver the brand messaging making it a very good design for the advert. The poses and expressions of the adults and babies are neat enough to make you think that they are really mirror images of adults and their inner babies. 5/5
